Shaykh Muhammad’s Guidance #1
Don’t be Angry
Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla does not like those who are angry.
For those who are angry with each other, Ramaḍān is the month for them to make up. And it is a great deed.
So for those who are angry to make up is also a beautiful form of worship. Its rewards are great. Worship which involves waking up for night prayer, or fasting – there is nothing hard in this, nothing tiresome.
However, doing it appears harder to people. According to the commands of Islām, being angry for more than three days is not good. So if someone insists on being angry, then let them be. Do not be angry with anyone. We will answer the Salām if they give the Salām.
If they come, we will accept them. So there is not much to do. Because Allāh ﷻ says He ﷻ loves those who forgive. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says to forgive. He ﷺ says, “Allāh ﷻ loves those who forgive.”
